Good Fish Awards

Here is a list of awards that are currently available on Good Fish. If you have any other ideas, let us know!

Standard Awards

	Lunker Good Fish uses the IGFA world record information to determine lunker fish for the most popular species. More information on our fish point system is coming soon.
	Monster Catch This award is given to anglers who catch a dangerous species. If it has bigger teeth than you do, it probably qualifies as a monster catch. Here's an example.
	Diaper Guppy This award is given to anglers who post a fish that is really just bait.
	Mas Grande This award is given to the angler who catches the largest fish for a popular species (e.g. Largemouth, Bream, Trout, etc.). This is the only award that can be taken away from the winner and given to a new winner.
	Hat Trick This award is given to anglers who post 25 catches with 3 or more species. The first 25 people to get this award get a FREE Good Fish hat.
	100 Club This award is given to anglers who post 100 catches. Myles, from Sacramento, CA is the first member of this club.
	500 Club This award is given to anglers who post 500 catches. Jack Tide is the first member of this club.
	1st 1k Award This award is given to the first 1,000 anglers to to post a catch on Good Fish.
	Pioneer This award is given to the first 500 anglers to have accounts on Good Fish. Sorry if you didn't get one, these are all gone :-)
	Pro Guide Icon This is not an award; it's a badge that we give to all professional fishing guides. It's our way of highlighting Good Fish users who might be available to help you land some fish.

Monthly Awards

	Tournament Winner Good Fish holds online fishing tournaments about once per month. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners get a trophy icon on their profile. 1st place winners also get a Good Fish hat and a $50 gift card.
	Angler of the Month Each month Good Fish will choose an Angler of the Month based on quantity and quality of catches. Categories: Angler of the Month, Guide of the Month, and more coming soon.

Annual Awards

	Angler of the Year Our most prestigious award. Every year, 3-7 anglers will be nominated based on quality of catches, quantity of catches, tournament wins and participation such as comments and helpful tips for other anglers. The Good Fish community will vote on the winner for our Angler of the Year award. Look for the voting ballot sometime in January.
	Catch of the Year Every year, the Good Fish community will vote on one catch for the Catch of the Year. The nominations and voting are part of the Angler of the Year ballot.
